Pop Your Pet – Kids Edition!
Come join us at “Pop Your Pet – Kid’s Edition!” where kids can paint their favorite furry friends!
Pop art! Soda Pop! Popcorn! Pop music! Get your POP on!! Looking for a fun time for your children to immortalize your pet on canvas? The Taube Museum of Art is holding a Pop Your Pet Kids Edition April 13, 4:00-5:30pm. Open to ages 8+.
Your child will receive guidance to make their own unique “pop art” pet or dream pet painting on stretched canvas. Pre-submit your pet’s image to the Taube at taube@srt.com by April 10 for enlarging, and join the ranks of Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, David Hockney, and Richard Hamilton on the afternoon of the 13th for the Painting Party. Snacks and drinks in a party atmosphere are included in the price of the ticket. The price is $40 for nonmembers and $35 for members. Pre-registration is required!
