About Beers for the Badlands
Laughing Sun Brewing Co. and Atypical Brewery & Barrelworks are supporting Badlands Conservation Alliance through Beers for the Badlands, a campaign to raise awareness about the need to protect public lands in western North Dakota. Laughing Sun and Atypical each brewed a limited edition beer for the campaign, and will be donating $1 to BCA for each draught beer sold. Kickoff events are planned for August 8th in Bismarck and August 16th in Minot.
“North Dakota’s public lands belong to each and every one of us. It’s our responsibility to protect them for future generations. There’s nothing better after a day in the Badlands than to reminisce over a cold local craft beer with friends and family,” says Shannon Straight, executive director of BCA. “We’re grateful to Laughing Sun and Atypical for joining us and supporting our mission to defend the Badlands.”
Join BCA at Laughing Sun in Bismarck on Thursday, August 8th from 5–8 p.m. to celebrate the release of their honey lager and discuss conservation issues with Shannon Straight. The honey lager, with floral and cherry notes, was made with North Dakota malt and honey. The can’s artwork was designed by Brandy Duarte. One dollar per six pack sold will be donated to BCA.
