Ah, Minot, North Dakota – a quaint little town with more intrigue than meets the eye. Today’s mission: blend in and gather intel on local activities. The Scheels BurliMOT Half Marathon caught my attention – a 13.1-mile course perfect for observing the landscape and potential extraction routes. I’ll be there under the guise of a runner, though my Walther PPK will remain holstered beneath my custom race shirt.
For a more covert operation, I’ll infiltrate the Saturday Farmers Market in Oak Park. Thirty-five local vendors provide excellent cover for a discreet meeting with my MI6 contact. I’ll procure some fresh produce while I’m at it – one must maintain one’s cover, after all. Should things go pear-shaped, there’s always the option of a tactical retreat to Arny’s 2.0 for their newly reinstated brunch. A mimosa in hand is the perfect prop for nonchalantly surveilling the area. Now, if you’ll excuse me, it’s time to get funky – national day and all that.
