Well, well, well, what do we have here? Minot’s buzzing like a beehive full of artistic bees and hungry hippos. The Taube Museum’s got an exhibit called “Old Gold: Steel & Wood.” Sounds like my uncle’s retirement plan – rusty and stiff. But I hear it’s quite the spectacle, turning junk into jewels. Just don’t tell my aunt, or she’ll start wearing hub caps as necklaces.
Now, if you’re feeling luckier than a custodian on National Custodial Worker’s Recognition Day (yes, that’s a thing), mosey on down to the Blue Rider. They’re handing out pull tabs faster than I hand out insults. And for seven bucks, you can get a beer and a shot of Fernet. I haven’t seen a deal that good since I traded my brother for a rubber chicken.
And speaking of poultry, Prairie Sky Breads is serving up a Rachel sandwich. It’s got more layers than my ex-wife’s excuses. But between you and me, I prefer my turkey without the kraut. The last time I mixed those two, I ended up in a pickle with the delicatessen union.
