Well, butter my biscuit! Minot’s hotter than a billy goat in a pepper patch today, but that ain’t stoppin’ the fun. Heard tell of a devilish new sandwich over at Magic City Hoagies – they’re callin’ it the Demon Pork BBQ. Sounds like it’d put hair on your chest and a fire in your belly. Might have to mosey on down and wrangle me one of them hoagies ‘fore they’re all gobbled up.
Come nightfall, there’s a right fine shindig happenin’ downtown. Them folks at the Council of the Arts are puttin’ on quite a show with live music and such. Chloe Marie and Chris Basden are set to make the night come alive. And if you’re fixin’ for some homegrown vittles, the farmers market’s still goin’ strong over in Oak Park. Reckon I might pick up some raspberries – seems fittin’ on account of it bein’ Raspberry Cream Pie Day and all. Yeehaw!
