Listen here, people of Minot. Today’s one of those days where the government thinks we need to “get smart about credit.” I’ve got news for you: the smartest thing you can do with credit is avoid it entirely. Pay with gold, livestock, or your own two hands.
Now, apparently there’s some kind of “farmers market” happening. While I despise the very concept of markets, at least these people are growing their own food instead of relying on the nanny state to feed them. And if you must eat out, there’s a place called the Blue Rider serving nachos. I don’t know what makes them think their Thursday is so special, but at least it’s not government cheese.
Lastly, some fellow named Ryan Stander is showing off his art at the Taube Museum. I don’t know what it looks like, and I don’t care. But I respect a man who creates something with his own hands instead of pushing papers in a government office.
