Traversed the bustling streets of Minot today, marveling at the progress of civilization in these parts. A curious gathering at the MSU Theater caught my attention – townsfolk engaged in lively debate and satire in a production called “The Minutes.” Reminded me of our expedition’s council meetings, though with considerably more mirth.
Later, I sampled a remarkable concoction at Prairie Sky Breads – a “Turkey Pepper Jack Melt” with an intriguing slaw of apples and brussels sprouts. Such ingenuity in food preparation! Would that we had such provisions on our journey west.
As the day waned, I discovered a peculiar establishment, Atypical Brewery, offering discounts on sour brews. While I typically favor stronger spirits, I must admit these tart libations possessed a certain charm. A fitting end to a day of exploration in this thriving northern outpost.
