This morning, I strolled through the Farmers Market in Oak Park, my nose twitching at the aroma of fresh zucchini. Now, I know what you’re thinking – “What if I end up with more squash than I can handle?” Fear not! Today happens to be “Sneak Some Zucchini onto Your Neighbor’s Porch Day.” Just remember, a true friend leaves zucchini by daylight.
As the sun sets, why not tickle your funny bone at the Blue Rider? The “Why Not Laugh” comedy night kicks off at 9 PM. No cover charge, stiff drinks, and free popcorn – now that’s what I call a hot deal! And if you’re looking for a more cultured evening, swing by the Taube Museum of Art to catch Kathleen Herlihy Paoli’s “Act Three” exhibition. Her thought-provoking paintings might just spark a conversation as stimulating as… well, let’s just say they’re pretty darn stimulating.
