Alright, listen up Minot! It’s your old pal Cliff here, and boy, do I have some news for you. Now, I know what you’re thinking, “Cliff, how could there possibly be so much happening in our little neck of the woods?” Well, let me tell you, there’s more going on than you can shake a stick at!
First things first, it’s Father’s Day, and if you’re looking to treat your old man to something special, you gotta head over to Atypical Brewery. They’ve got Poppa’s Place Food Truck parked out front, and let me tell you, the grub is so good, it’ll make your taste buds stand up and salute. Plus, with a cold brew in hand, you and pops can swap stories about the good old days.
But wait, there’s more! The Arts in the City folks are putting on a real shindig over at the park. Live music, art demos, and get this – MACA Popcorn. I don’t know what makes it so special, but rumor has it, they sprinkle the stuff with a secret blend of spices that’ll make your mouth water. And since it’s National Fudge Day, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone’s whipped up a batch of the sweet stuff.
Now, I know we’re not exactly close to the ocean here in Minot, but that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate World Sea Turtle Day. These magnificent creatures have been around since the dinosaurs, and if that doesn’t deserve a tip of the hat, I don’t know what does. And speaking of ancient creatures, did you know it’s also National Turkey Lovers’ Day? That’s right, folks, it’s time to show some love for our feathered friends.
