First up, the annual Minot State University senior art exhibition “Coalescence” is opening tonight at the Northwest Arts Center. Eight talented students will be showcasing their capstone works in what’s sure to be a melting pot of creative genius. Art connoisseurs and pretentious windbags alike would be remiss to miss it!
Meanwhile, all you cool cats looking to grow your groovy record collection should make a pit stop at Budget Music & Video. Just whisper the secret code “Savor Minot” and bam! Ten percent off everything from vintage vinyls to odd knick-knacks. Score!
Oh, and let’s not forget it’s National Shrimp Day! Any self-respecting shellfish enthusiast simply must partake in the region’s finest prawns. I recommend pairing them with a nice Chardonnay…you know, to properly celebrate National Lipid Day and all.
Between gallery openings, record shopping, and a shrimp-fueled dinner, this eccentric little burg certainly won’t leave you bored. Of course, you could always just stay home and clean your room for National Clean Up Your Room Day instead. But where’s the fun in that? Yeesh!
